人际投射——评价意义潜势扩展的机制

Interpersonal Projection: A Mechanism for the Expansionof the Evaluative Meaning Potential

评价是人际交流的核心,所有语篇本质上都或多或少隐含着作者的评价,体现评价意义的语言资源也丰富多样。该文以系统功能语言学的投射系统为理论框架,以人际投射为切入点,分别从情态和语气系统考察了人际投射据此扩展评价意义潜势的机制。分析表明:人际投射是评价意义隐喻性扩展的重要机制。情态系统的人际投射主要从心理—认知过程和心理—情感过程2个维度来体现和实现评价意义;语气系统的人际投射则主要从言语过程的命题与提议功能2个维度拓展评价意义表征潜势。人际投射作为一种重要的话语策略,为表征多元而细致的评价意义提供了一个有效的人际框架。

Evaluation is one of the key elements of interpersonal communication.Essentially,the author’s evaluation is more or less going through all of the discourses he/she has written.There are abundant and various linguistic resources to manifest the evaluation meaning.Based on the projection system of Systemic Functional Linguistics(SFL),this paper explores the mechanism by which interpersonal projection extends the potential of meaning evaluation from modality and mood systems.The analysis shows that interpersonal projection is an important mechanism for the metaphorical expansion of evaluative meaning.The interpersonal projection of the modal system mainly embodies and realizes the evaluation meaning from two dimensions:the psychological-cognitive process and the psychological-affective process;while the interpersonal projection of the mood system expands the potential of the representation of evaluation meaning from another two dimensions:the speech functions of proposition and propose.Interpersonal projection,as an important discourse strategy,provides an effective interpersonal framework for representing diverse and more delicate evaluation meanings.
