In the past two years,in order to consolidate the South Korea-U.S.alliance,deal with the North Korean nuclear crisis and build an Indo-Pacific deterrence posture,the U.S.and South Korea have organized joint military exercises at high frequency and intensity,leaving the situation on the peninsula perilous and the neighboring countries at the brink of crises.Therefore,to safeguard our security interests,it is imperative to capture the new trends of the U.S.-South Korea joint military exercises and analyze their strategic intentions,so as to take appropriate countermeasures.The intention of joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States to target neighboring countries is becoming increasingly apparent,with the scale of exercises and the number of participating countries constantly expanding,and cutting-edge weapons frequently appearing.Its aim is to create a favorable situation for South Korea to become a world power,seek to shape a new regional security order led by the United States,and have a serious impact on the security and stability of neighboring countries and regions.
