摘要
0 INTRODUCTION Gold has been historically functioned as a strategic commodity, serving as a hard currency for international reserves, and increasingly plays a pivotal role in modern electronic communications, aerospace, and other high-tech industries.A range of geological processes (e.g.,magmatic activity, regional metamorphism, tectonic event) can result in formation of different types of gold deposits hosted in various through time.Based on tectonic background and genetic model, gold deposits can be classified into orogenic-,porphyry-,epithermal-,Carlin-,IOCG-(iron-oxide copper-gold)(IOCG),VMS-(volcanogenic massive sulfide),and SEDEX-(sedimentary exhalative) gold types (Kerrich et al.,2000).
