Research on the Protection of Citizen’s Reputation Rights in Short Videos Applications

随着我国短视频用户数量的急速增长,短视频作品、短视频评论频频出现诽谤、辱骂、丑化等侵犯公民名誉权现象,不仅严重损害公民合法权益,影响民法典顺利实施,还造成网络环境的无序,影响中国法治建设进程。民法典时代,要有效治理短视频侵犯公民名誉权乱象,保护公民名誉权,必须强化“1墙4力”,政府、短视频平台和网民共同发力,携手共建清朗网络家园。

With prompt growth of the number of short video users in China,by means of comments,the audiences repeatedly defame,insult,and vilify the short video producers,which have violated the producers’reputation right.This phenomenon seriously damages the legitimate rights and interests of citizens,affects the smooth implementation of the Civil Code,causes disorder in the network environment and affects the process of China’s rule of law construction.In order to effectively control the chaos of infringing on citizens’reputation right and protect the right of civic reputation in the era of the Civil Code,it is necessary to perfect the system,strengthen the management,promote technological innovation,enhance positive influence,and improve net citizens’ability to surf the Internet legally.The government,short video platforms,and the public must work together to build a clear network environment.
