Belarusian Diplomatic Security Strategy in the Context of the Ukraine Crisis

2022年爆发的乌克兰危机改变了国际战略格局,对白俄罗斯的安全环境造成严重冲击。为此,白俄罗斯及时调整外交优先方向和军事战略方针,在与美西方展开激烈斗争的同时,进一步巩固与俄罗斯的同盟关系,加强与中国和其他发展中国家的互利合作。随着美西方对俄、白遏制打压力度的不断加大,白俄罗斯在扩军备战提升国防能力的同时,其外交安全战略中“联俄、倚中、抗美、拉欧”的特征将更趋明显。

The outbreak of the Ukraine crisis in 2022 has changed the international strategic landscape and worsened the security environment for Belarus.In response to the ensuing risks and challenges,Belarus has made timely adjustments to its diplomatic priorities and military strategy,further consolidating its alliance with Russia and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with China and other developing countries,while engaging in a fierce tit-for-tat struggle with the United States and the West.As the US and the West intensify their efforts to contain and suppress Russia and Belarus,Belarus'diplomatic and security strategy will become more pronounced with the features of"uniting Russia,relying on China,resisting the US and pulling Europe"while expanding its military preparations and improving its defense capabilities.
