摘要 基于扩展的STIRPAT方程,利用2011—2020年中国除西藏、香港地区、澳门地区、台湾地区以外的30个省(区、市)的面板数据分析数字经济发展水平对交通运输业碳排放量的影响。研究结果表明,数字经济发展能显著降低交通运输业碳排放水平,在替换被解释变量、缩短样本期、内生性检验等稳健性检验后上述结论仍然成立;异质性分析结果表明,数字经济对交通运输业的碳减排效应在中部、东部地区以及数字经济发展水平指数高于总体50%分位的地区更加显著;机制检验结果表明,数字经济可以通过促进技术创新和缓解交通拥挤的方式来降低交通运输碳排放。 Based on the extended STIRPAT equation,this paper analyzes the impact of the development level of digital economy on the carbon emissions of the transportation industry by using the panel data of 30 provinces,autonomous regions and cities in China except Xizang,Hong Kong region,Macao region and Taiwan region from 2010 to 2020.The results of the study show that the development of the digital economy can significantly reduce the level of carbon emissions in the transportation industry,and the above conclusion still hold after the robustness tests such as replacing the explanatory variables,shortening the sample period,and the endogeneity test;the results of the heterogeneity analysis show that the effect of carbon emission reduction of the digital economy on the transportation industry is more pronounced in the central and eastern regions,as well as in the regions where the index of digital economy development level is higher than the overall 50 percentile;and the results of the mechanism test indicate that the digital economy can reduce carbon emissions from transportation by promoting technological innovation and reducing congestion.
