毛泽东在《新民主主义论》一文中首次明确地提出了“能动的革命的反映论”这一哲学范畴,不仅对思维和存在这一哲学基本问题作出规定,科学回答了理论与实践相统一的问题,而且通过对认识的辩证运动的考察,揭示了理论与实践的辩证关系。能动的革命的反映论由于是辩证唯物论和历史唯物论的有机统一,所以也从唯物史观的基本观点出发,阐明了理论与实践相统一的道理。能动的革命的反映论正确解决了贯彻实事求是思想路线的根本问题,是实事求是思想路线的哲学基础。

In his article On New Democracy,Mao Zedong first explicitly proposed the philosophical category of"the reflection theory of active revolution",which not only stipulated the basic philosophical question of thinking and existence,scientifically answered the question of the unity of theory and practice,but also revealed the dialectical relationship between theory and practice through the examination of the dialectical movement of recognition.The reflection theory of active revolution,as an organic unity of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,also clarifies the principle of the unity of theory and practice from the basic perspective of historical materialism.It is the philosophical foundation of the ideological line of seeking truth from facts since it correctly solves the fundamental problem of implementing the ideological line of seeking truth from facts.
