从书法教学谈书法之“媚”

《书法史》是书法专业本科一门重要的理论课程。历代书法风格的演变、发展又是《书法史》课程的重点内容。通过阅读历代书法的文献资料,我们发现古代学者经常运用“媚”的相关词汇来品评书法的风格特点,如“姿媚”“肥媚”“妍媚”等,这些词汇在不同的时代和不同的语境中表达含义也有所差异,既有赞美、褒奖,也有批评、反对。通过对“媚”相关词汇内涵的差异性梳理,可以帮助我们找到研究书法史的新线索和新思路,对《书法史》教学也大有裨益。

The History of Calligraphy is an important theoretical course for undergraduates majoring in calligraphy.The evolution and development of calligraphy styles throughout the ages are also the focus of The History of Calligraphy course.Through reading the literature of the calligraphy of the past,we have found that ancient scholars often used terms related to"mei(charm)"to evaluate the stylistic characteristics of calligraphy,such as"zimei","feimei",and"yanmei",etc.These terms also have different meanings in different eras and contexts,including praise,commendation,criticism and opposition.Sorting out the differences in the connotations of words related to"mei"can help us find new clues and new ideas for studying the history of calligraphy,and it is also of great benefit to the teaching of The History of Calligraphy.
