天津渤海开放大学创办始末与影响

On the Effect and Founding of Bohai Open University in Tianjin

1984年10月9日,渤海开放大学正式成立,其是我国最早成立的开放大学。原天津师范大学地理系党总支书记李林山是这所新型大学的创始人。渤海开放大学先后开设了外经贸应用英语、外经贸应用日语、国际商法和乡镇企业管理等7个专业。师资力量雄厚,名师荟萃,副教授及以上职称教师占教师总数的三分之二。该校社会声誉斐然,号称“经理的摇篮”。它是亚洲成立的第三所开放大学,仅次于韩国和日本的两所开放大学,对亚洲乃至世界都产生了一定的影响。

On October,the 9th,1984,Bohai Open University was officially established.It is the first open university in Tianjin also in China.Li Linshan was the founder of this new style university,who once acted as the Secretary of the Party General Branch of the Department of Geography at Tianjin Normal University.Bohai Open University has set up seven majors successively such as Applied English for Foreign Economic Trade,Applied Japanese for Foreign Economic Trade,International Commerce Law,Rural Enterprise Management and so forth.It boasts a team of many famous teachers,whose ratio of associate professors and professors reaches two-thirds of the total number of teachers.This university is famous in society reputed“the cradle of managers”.It is the third open university in Asia,just later than South Korea and Japan.This university affects certainly Asia as well as the world.
