能源转型背景下国际石化化工公司塑料循环发展策略及启示

Plastics Cycle Development Strategies and Their Implications of International Petrochemical and Chemical Companies in the Context of Energy Transition

近年来,对塑料管理不当造成了严重的环境问题,随着全球对塑料污染治理达成共识,国际大型石化化工公司纷纷投身塑料循环利用产业,研究借鉴其塑料循环利用发展策略对于中国石化化工公司塑料业务可持续发展具有重要意义。重点分析了巴斯夫公司、埃克森美孚公司、沙特基础工业公司、SK集团的塑料循环利用发展战略及路径,提出4项塑料循环发展建议:强化责任担当,积极投身塑料循环经济建设;强化目标导向,设定明确的循环利用目标;强化技术攻关,注重发挥循环利用技术的驱动作用;强化开放合作,打造塑料全生命周期全产业链。

In recent years,improper plastics management has produced major environmental issues.As the world comes to an agreement on plastic pollution prevention,significant worldwide petrochemical and chemical businesses have devoted themselves to the plastic recycling industry.Studying and learning from their plastic recycling development strategies is of great significance to the sustainable development of the plastics business of Chinese chemical companies.This paper examines BASF,ExxonMobil,SABIC,and SK’s plastic recycling development plans and pathways,and makes four recommendations:strengthening the responsibility mechanism and actively participating in the development of a plastic circular economy;improving goal orientation and defining clear recycling targets;advancing technological research with emphasis on the driving role of recycling technology;and increasing open cooperation and building a whole life industrial recycling chain of plastics.
