南宋广都“龙溪”避讳更名“灵溪”小考

On The Name Change of Guangdu"Longxi"to"Lingxi"in The Southern Song Dynasty due to Taboo

通过对成都地区新近出土的十数方买地券进行整理,发现在宋代同时为成都府广都县所辖的龙溪、灵溪二乡在地理空间上存在较大重合。而在史志文献中,南宋早期至中晚期不同时段内龙溪、灵溪二乡也存在叙述矛盾。研究表明,龙溪、灵溪二者在两宋时期实为广都县下辖的一乡,乡名变化的主要原因在于北宋徽宗朝及南宋高宗时期执行的地名避“龙”字讳政策。受此次避讳的影响,全国多地均有与“龙”字相关地名、山川、人名因之而改变。

By sorting out more than a dozen newly unearthed land purchase coupons in Chengdu,it is found that Longxi and Lingxi townships,which were simultaneously under the jurisdiction of Guangdu County of Chengdu Prefecture in the Song Dy-nasty,have a large overlap in geographical space.In historical documents,there are also narrative contradictions in Longxi and Lingxi townships at different times from the early to the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty.According to the paper,Longxi and Lingxi were actually a township under the jurisdiction of Guangdu County during the Two Song Dynasties,and the main rea-son for the change of township names was the policy of avoiding the Chinese character"Long"in place names implemented dur-ing the Huizong Period of the Northern Song Dynasty and the Gaozong Period of the Southern Song Dynasty.Affected by this avoidance,many places in the country changed their local names,mountains’and rivers’names,and personal names related to"Long".
