Xinyang City is the main tea producing area in Henan Province,and also one of the important green tea producing areas and tea production and distribution centres in China.The tea industry is a distinctive pillar industry of Xinyang City,playing an active role in enhancing the efficiency of agriculture,increasing the income of farmers and rural development.Influenced by the international trade environment,tea products in Xinyang City face fierce competition and trade barriers in the international market.Under the new development pattern of"double cycle",it has become the consensus of all circles in Xinyang city to give full play to the advantages of tea industry development and promote the high-quality development of regional tea industry.The article compares the current situation of tea industry development in Xinyang City,objectively analyses the opportunities and challenges of tea industry development in Xinyang City,and then proposes targeted suggestions to increase investment in tea industry,continuously develop new tea products,adhere to green production and attach importance to the training of tea industry professionals,so as to promote the high-quality development of tea industry in Xinyang City.
