作为大自然的产物,贝壳自古以来就与人类结下了不解之缘。远古时期,山顶洞人就将贝壳制作成饰品。秦汉时期,贝壳被雕刻成简单的鸟兽样式,镶嵌在青铜器、镜子和桌椅等各类物品上做装饰。
As products of nature,shells have developed a bond with people since the days of yore.In ancie nt times,cave people made shells into ornaments(装饰品).During the Qin and Han Dynasties,shells were carved with simple pat-terns of birds and animals and inlaid(镶嵌)as ornaments on a wide range of objects,such as bronze vessels,mirrors,tables and chairs.
