基于拉曼光纤放大器通信系统仿真与性能优化

Simulation and Performance Optimization of Optical Fiber Communication System Based on Raman Amplifier

摘要 根据拉曼光纤放大器原理构建其数学模型,并据此分析其增益、噪声、非线性等基本特性。利用Optisystem对拉曼光纤放大器(RFA)光纤链路的16QAM 40 Gbit/s相干光通信系统进行设计。仿真结果显示,系统传输存在相位失真和弥散现象。在Matlab环境下优化了Volterra级数的最小均方(LMS)和最小二乘(RLS)补偿算法,使用该算法完成了RFA非线性效应补偿,系统性能显著提升,输出星座图星座点非常集中,系统误码率(BER)降低,信噪比(SNR)提高,受噪声、非线性效应等影响小。改进后的VLMS和VRLS算法具有良好的非线性补偿效果。 A mathematical model is constructed according to the principle of Raman fiber amplifier.Based on the model,basic characteristics of gain,noise and nonlinearity are analyzed.Then the overall scheme of 16QAM coherent optical communication system is designed,and the 16QAM 40Gbit/s coherent optical communication system based on RFA optical fiber link is successfully simulated by Optisystem.The simulation results show that the system transmission has phase distortion and dispersion.The LMS and RLS compensation algorithms of Volterra series are optimized in the MATLAB environment.The RFA nonlinear effect compensation is completed by using this algorithm,the system performance is significantly improved,the output constellation points are very concentrated,the system BER is reduced,the SNR is improved,and the influence of noise and nonlinear effect is small.It is proved that the improved VLMS and VRLS algorithms have good nonlinear compensation effect.
