1978—1991年,学校围绕着建设综合性理工大学的目标,高度重视实验室建设,从加大投入、规范管理、队伍建设等方面实施了一系列除旧布新的工作举措,积极筹建4个国家重点实验室,使学校整体实验条件和实验水平有了极大的改善和提高,在人才培养、科学研究、对外服务方面发挥了积极作用,同时也为21世纪“创一流”目标下建设一流实验室奠定了良好的基础。

From 1978 to 1991,around the goal of constructing a comprehensive university of science and technology,Shanghai Jiao Tong University paid high attention to the laboratory construction.It implemented a series of working acts through replacing the old with the new,from the aspects of increasing normalizing management,increasing investment and strengthening the team construction,and positively built 4 state key laboratories,which made the whole experiment conditions and levels have an enormous improvement.It played a positive role in the aspects of talents training,scientific research and external services,and also laid a good foundation for constructing the first class laboratory under the goal of create the first-class in the 21st century.
