With the continuous progress of science and technology and the rapid development of information technology,information and automation technology has been widely used in all fields,including the construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects.The application of information and automation technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to water conservancy and hydropower projects,and has produced a profound impact on all aspects of project planning,design,construction,operation and management.Therefore,this paper introduce the application of information and automation technology in the construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects,analyzes the existing problems in the application,and puts forward corresponding strategies,aiming to provide useful reference for relevant personnel.
