Euphemism is a way of expression across cultures and languages,and people express their views in a more appropriate and polite way in the process of communication through euphemistic hints,which is an essential lubricant for people to coordinate their relations at the same time.The use of such rhetorical method also reflects different cultural traditions,values and national characters.In the era of peace,with the deepening of the communication between China and the world,the translation of euphemism is becoming more important in cross-cultural communication.By comparing the two languages,the practical methods and strategies of euphemism translation in English-Chinese communication have also been further discussed.
