Study on the Impact of New Digital Infrastructure Development on Regional Innovation Efficiency

为探究新型数字基础设施建设对区域创新效率的影响及其机制,借助我国30个省区市2013-2021年的数据,基于信息基础设施、融合基础设施、创新基础设施3个维度构建我国省级层面的新型数字基础设施建设水平指标体系,使用熵值法计算新型数字基础设施建设水平综合指数,运用空间计量模型及中介效应检验模型实证检验新型数字基础设施建设对区域创新效率的影响并揭示其作用路径。研究发现,新型数字基础设施建设对于区域创新效率的提升具有显著促进作用。此外,新型数字基础设施建设能通过提升市场化水平、优化产业结构提升区域创新效率。研究有助于厘清我国新型数字基础设施建设与区域创新效率之间的关系,并为提升区域创新效率提供政策建议。

To explore the impact of new digital infrastructure construction on regional innovation efficiency and its mechanism,with the data of 30 provinces and municipalities in China from 2013 to 2021,an index system of new digital infrastructure construction level at the provincial level in China was constructed based on the three dimensions of information,integration and innovation infrastructure.This paper used the entropy method to calculate the comprehensive index of new digital infrastructure construction level,used the spatial econometric model and mediating effect test model to empirically test the impact of new digital infrastructure construction on regional innovation efficiency,and further revealed its path.The results show that:the new digital infrastructure construction has a significant role in promoting the regional innovation efficiency.Furthermore,new digital infrastructure can promote regional innovation efficiency through improving the level of marketization and optimizing the industrial structure.This study helps to clarify the relationship between China's new digital infrastructure and regional innovation efficiency and provides corresponding policy recommendations for improving regional innovation efficiency.
