As an important part of the road traffic system,the central isolation fence plays a key role in improving traffic safety.Based on the active safety mechanism,the study introduces the classification and function of the central isolation guardrail,proposes the design principles,and explores the selection of materials,structural design,processing technology,anti-collision components and connection methods,etc.,so as to improve the stability,reliability and safety of the central isolation guardrail system.
