With the gradual promotion and popularization of 120 air brake valve,it has gradually occupied a leading position in diesel locomotives and railway transport vehicles in China.Its safety and reliability are the preconditions and safety guarantees for the normal operation of trains.Therefore,this paper outlines the structural characteristics and working principle of the 120 freight car control brake valve,makes a macro introduction to its development status and application prospects,summarizes and analyzes several common fault types of the railway air brake valve in the actual production and use process,discusses the fault types that occur,gives the corresponding fault analysis and treatment methods,and provides some experience and reference value for the safe operation of vehicles.
