应用型本科高校英语教师跨文化教学调查研究

摘要 本研究基于问卷调查和访谈,考察了应用型本科高校英语教师对跨文化教学的认知和教学实践情况,结果显示:教师对跨文化教学总体认知不够,其课堂教学行为与其跨文化教学认知并非完全一致。在测试过的跨文化相关内容中,教师对文化价值观和行为模式的考察较少。为此,应用型本科高校英语教师应转变自己的跨文化教学理念,增加跨文化实践经历;高校应重视为英语教师搭建跨文化交流平台,鼓励教师组建跨文化教学团队,提升其跨文化教学能力。 Based on a questionnaire and interview among English teachers from application-oriented undergraduate universities,this study shows that teachers'perception of intercultural English teaching is not enough and it doesn't exactly line up with the teachers'teaching activities.With regard to intercultural content that English teachers have tested,they neglect cultural values and behavioral patterns.In view of this,English teachers from application-oriented undergraduate universities should change their perceptions and increase their intercultural practices.And universities should build intercultural platforms for English teachers and encourage them to form intercultural teaching teams to improve their intercultural teaching competence.
