孙广钦在青岛的教育活动及其贡献

SUN Guangqin′s Education Activities and Contributions in Qingdao

孙广钦于青岛收回前后,对当地教育的发展作出了重要贡献:发起“华人提倡教育之先声”的青岛市教育会,并任会长;筹备“青岛收回后,华人教育之先声”的私立青岛中学,且任校长;发起“青岛高等教育史上,国人自办高等教育之嚆矢”的私立青岛大学,参与筹备并任校务主任。孙广钦或倡导或参与的这几项教育实践活动皆在青岛教育史上具有开创性意义,在教育行政制度、教育体系等方面推进了青岛教育的近代化,产生了较为深远的影响。

Sun Guangqin made important contributions to the development of local education before and after the recovery of Qingdao:He initiated the Qingdao Education Association,which was the"pioneer of Chinese education",and served as its president;Prepared the private Qingdao Middle School,"the pioneer of Chinese education after the recovery of Qingdao",and served as the principal;Initiated the private Qingdao University,"the first self-established higher education in the history of Qingdao higher education",participated in the preparation and served as the director of the school.These educational practices advocated or participated by Sun Guangqin are of pioneering significance in the history of education in Qingdao,and have greatly promoted the modernization of education in Qingdao in the aspects of education administration system and education system,and have had a far-reaching impact.
