From the Space of “Collecting Books” to the Medium of “Interaction”:Reunderstanding the University Library

快速迭代的传播技术革命深度改写了世界的存在方式,数字媒介对生活方式的重构越来越深刻。高校是相对独立于社会环境的学习与生活场景,这种相对独立性为校内图书馆进行专有的创新模式提供了物质载体。作为高校内部知识交转的中枢,图书馆具备多重媒介基因,其独特的场景空间为图书馆和读者之间搭建了多维多元的交互界面。文章把图书馆看成是一个信息交转的媒介主体,考量其信息传递的多媒体、跨时空的特征,从媒介的角度认识图书馆,为改善馆藏服务工作带来一种辨析性的思考。

The rapid and iterative communication technology revolution has deeply rewritten the way of existence of the world,and the reconstruction of life style by digital media is becoming more and more profound.Colleges and universities are relatively independent of the social environment of learning and living scene,and this relative independence provides a material carrier for the campus library to carry out a proprietary innovation model.As the center of knowledge transfer in colleges and universities,the library has multiple media genes,and its unique scene space builds a multi-dimensional and multi-dimensional interactive interface between the library and read⁃ers.We regard the library as a medium of information transfer.Considering the multimedia and time-space char⁃acteristics of information transmission,we can understand the library from the perspective of media,which will bring us a kind of analytical thinking to improve the collection service.
