On the Cultural Exchange of Nationalities in the Liao Dynasty

辽统治时期,汉族、契丹族、渤海族、奚族等民族长期交错分布,杂居共处,相互交融,相互影响,逐渐形成了你中有我、我中有你的局面。在长期交往的基础上,辽代各民族在文化维度上获得了更深层次的交流。辽朝作为民族融合的关键时期,在中华民族多元一体格局形成过程中扮演重要角色。

During the reign of the Liao Dynasty,ethnic groups such as the Han,Khitan,Bohai,and Xi were intermingled and coexisted for a long time,blending and influencing each other,gradually forming a situation where you have me and I have you.On the basis of long-term communication,various ethnic groups in the Liao Dynasty achieved deeper cultural exchanges.As a crucial period of ethnic integration,the Liao Dynasty played an important role in the formation of the diverse and integrated pattern of the Chinese nation.
