Research Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Mechanism of Functional Constipation

功能性便秘(FC)是一种常见的功能性消化系统疾病。西医无特效治疗药物且方案单一、易耐药,而中医药治疗FC以临床经验为总结,不断提出新理论和新思路,治疗方案丰富且具有毒副作用小、耐药性少等优势。近年来,中医药治疗FC的作用机制正在深入研究,相关文献报道也在大量更新,目前认为其主要通过影响神经递质水平、调节肠道菌群结构、干预水通道蛋白通路、减少炎症因子释放、调节免疫反应、影响Cajal间质细胞数量及浓度等途径发挥治疗FC的作用,但仍存在具体成分及具体作用机制尚不明确的问题,有待深入研究。

Functional constipation(FC)is a common functional digestive system disorder.Western medicine has no specific drugs and only a single program,which is easy to develop drug resistence,while traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for FC treatment is summarized from clinical experience,and has been constantly proposing new theories and new ideas,which has the advantages of rich treatment programs,little toxic and side effects,and less drug resistance.In recent years,the mechanism of action of TCM in the treatment of FC is being deeply studied,and relevant literature reports are also being extensively updated.At present,it is believed that it mainly plays a role in the treatment of FC through multiple ways,such as affecting the level of neurotransmitters,regulating the structure of intestinal flora,interfering with aquaporins pathway,reducing the release of inflammatory factors,regulating immune response,and affecting the number and concentration of Cajal interstitial cells.However,the specific components and mechanisms of action are still unclear,which need to be further studied.
