摘要
美国月球勘测轨道飞行器LRO(lunar reconnais⁃sance orbiter)卫星发射至今已运行超过12年,其搭载的激光高度计LOLA(lunar orbiter laser altimeter)获取了大量的地形测量数据。LOLA在长时间的观测过程中经历了多次的调轨,不同时间段的数据质量存在一定差异。本文结合不同时间段的LOLA数据产品,以月球南极区域撞击坑Haworth的备选着陆点HP1(2°3'45"E,85°59'18"S)为实验区,构建该区域的DEM(digital elevation model),进行质量评价并分析DEM上出现条纹的原因。研究表明数据质量出现差异的原因可能是“LOLA热毯异常”以及LOLA轨道调整导致的定轨误差。本研究为今后应用LOLA数据开展月球科学研究提供了参考。
The U.S.Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter(LRO)satellite has been in operation for more than 12 years since its launch,and the LOLA(Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter)on board has acquired a large amount of topographic data.LOLA has experienced many orbit adjustments in the long-term ob⁃servation,and the data quality in different time periods is dif⁃ferent.In this paper,we use the LOLA data products of dif⁃ferent time periods and choose the alternative landing site HP1(2°3'45"E,85°59'18"S)of the impact crater Haworth in the south polar region of the Moon as the experimental area,con⁃structing a digital elevation model(DEM)of the region.Then,the quality of the DEM is evaluated and the causes of the streaks of the DEM is analyzed.The study shows that the difference in data quality may be due to the“LOLA thermal blanket anomaly”and the orbiting error caused by the LOLA orbit adjustment.This study provides reference for the future application of LOLA data for lunar science research.
