Simulation analysis of mechanical characteristics in mold process of NdFeB based on EDEM

摘要 以SKH45压机为例,基于EDEM有限元分析软件建立钕铁硼模压过程的仿真模型。在仿真中定义了材料属性,并加载边界条件,求解及后处理。分析压机不同成型工艺(压制方式和压制速度)对压坯的应力的影响,为压型过程中优化工艺提供理论参考。通过模拟计算,浮动压制和双向压制优于单向压制,其中浮动压制压坯应力最小,有利于保护模具且最方便产品脱模,对于不同速度的浮动压制,速度越慢应力越小,但实际生产中应综合考虑其与生产效率的平衡关系。 Taking the SKH45 press as an example,a simulation model of the NdFeB powder pressing process was established based on EDEM finite element analysis software.Material properties are defined,and boundary conditions are loaded,solved and post-processed in the simulation.The effects of different forming processes(pressing methods and pressing speeds)of the press on the stress of the compact are analyzed to provide theoretical reference for optimizing the process during pressing.Through simulation calculations,floating pressing and bidirectional pressing are superior to unidirectional pressing,with the floating pressing die having the smallest stress,which is advantageous for protecting the die and facilitating product demolding.For different speeds of floating pressing,the slower the speed,the smaller the stress.However,in actual production,the balance between stress and production efficiency should be comprehensively considered.
