This article discusses the importance and characteristics of the performance appraisal management in pub⁃lic hospitals,The problems such as insufficient cognition and imper-fect system of preformance appraisal management are analyzed and proposes corresponding optimization strategies,aiming to provide some feasible suggestions for the performance appraisal management of public hospitals and better meet the medical and health needs of the broad masses of the people.
