Participatory Translation in the Digital Age

数字化时代信息技术的发展带来信息传播方式的变革。翻译,作为一种跨文化信息传播,也发生了相应的变化,特别是参与式翻译的出现和发展,给当前翻译理念带来了新的挑战。文章从翻译主体、翻译内容、翻译渠道、翻译受众、翻译效果五个方面考查数字化时代参与式翻译不同于传统翻译的特点以及对当前翻译研究带来的挑战,以期拓宽译学研究视野,促进翻译学的长足发展。

In the digital age,technological advances are bringing great changes in the way of communication.Correspondingly,translation,as an intercultural communication,is undergoing dramatic changes,particularly the emergence of participatory translation,which poses some challenges to translation studies.Therefore,this paper examines participatory translation in the digital age in terms of the subject,content,media,recipient and effect of this kind of translation,focusing on its distinguished features and its challenges to present translation studies.It is hoped that the brief introduction of participatory translation in the digital age would broaden the views on the notion of translation,thus expanding the scope of translation studies.
