摘要
工程教育“戈登奖”是美国工程教育改革与创新的风向标,其前沿特征对改进我国工程教育模式,培养新时代卓越工程师具有参考价值。文章分析2017—2023年“戈登奖”获奖项目案例。进一步总结对于优化中国卓越工程师培养模式的启示:注重培养工程师软技能,提升领导力、沟通协作能力、可持续胜任力;重构跨学科模块化知识体系,推行项目制培养模式,实现知识技能“学有所用、用有所学”;以真实项目为抓手推动多元合作、多方协同育人,切实提升实践教学效果等。这些启示可为优化中国卓越工程师培养模式提供参考。
The Gordon Prize for Innovation in Engineering and Technology Education is often regarded as a compass for engineering education reform and innovation in the United States.Its cutting-edge features provide valuable references for improving China’s engineering education model and cultivating outstanding engineers in the new era.This research introduces an overview of the Gordon Prize and analyzes the awarded programs over the past seven years.Furthermore,it summarizes insights for optimizing the model of cultivating outstanding engineers in China,including emphasizing engineers’soft skills,enhancing leadership,communication,collaboration abilities,and sustainable competence;reconstructing interdisciplinary modular knowledge systems;promoting project-based education to achieve the integration of learning and application of knowledge and skills;and utilizing real-world projects to promote diverse collaboration and multi-party coordinated education,thus,effectively improving the effectiveness of practical teaching,etc.These are useful references for optimizing the model of cultivating outstanding engineers in China.
