Collaborative communication mechanism of preprint platform and scientific journals in high energy physics

摘要 【目的】通过对比分析高能物理领域具有代表性的arXiv预印本平台和科技期刊在学术交流体系中功能的异同,探索科技期刊与预印本平台的协同交流机制。【方法】通过文献调研和现状调研的方法对高能物理领域预印本平台和科技期刊在传播速度、学术评价、论文引用和使用、开放获取和运营模式等方面进行比较,分析二者在学术交流中的定位和作用。【结果】科技期刊与预印本平台具有各自的优势和局限,作为学术交流的重要工具,应当在各方面互利互补,共同为学界打造理想的协同交流机制。【结论】近年来预印本平台发展迅猛,给科技期刊的发展带来了一定的冲击,我们应当抓住机遇,在政策接轨、引用统计、开放获取等方面探索新的合作途径,协同共赢。 [Purposes]This paper aims to explore the collaborative communication mechanism between scientific journals and the preprint platform by analyzing and comparing the functions of the representative arXiv preprint platform and scientific journals in high energy physics in academic communication systems.[Methods]Literature research and status quo investigation were adopted to conduct a comparison between the platform and scientific journals in high energy physics in terms of dissemination speed,academic evaluation,paper citation and utilization,open access,and operation modes to analyze their positioning and role in academic communications.[Findings]Scientific journals and preprint platforms have their own strengths and limitations.As important tools for academic communications,they should be mutually complementary and beneficial to create an ideal collaborative communication mechanism for the academic community.[Conclusions]In recent years,preprint platforms have been fast evolving,impacting scientific journals to a certain extent.Thus,we should grasp opportunities to explore new cooperation paths in policy alignment,citation statistics,and open access to achieve win-win collaboration.
