算法泛灵世界与当代工具理性批判重思

Our Algorithmic-animist World:Rethinking the Instrumental Reason in the Contemporary Society

批判理论自建立以来的重要任务之一,就是通过技术分析揭示我们的世界如何自启蒙时代以来因工具理性而造成了病态关系。不过,技术在当代已经出现了一个巨大的转变。当代社会发展出“自我运算”技术,并出现持续朝向人工智能物联网世界的趋势。在这个世界中,所有技术物都开始具有自我运算与物质实践的能力,让我们身处如同万物有灵的“算法泛灵世界”。过去,工具理性的麻烦在于将人纳入技术控制领域之内;但在算法泛灵世界中的麻烦在于将人排除在技术控制领域之外。从“算法泛灵世界”现象出发,关于工具理性的某些基本命题有必要进行调整,并补充进一些新的社会学研究与省思视角。

A significant topic of the Critical Theory is to uncover how our relationship to the world is caused pathological symptoms because of the technology based on the instrumental reason.But we should notice that there is a distinct tendency of the development of technology in the contemporary society.A self-calculating technology,which excludes human being as the user of technology,has arisen and wavers the meaning of technology.And along with the development of AloT,more and more technical objects also have the ability of self-calculation and self-praxis this situation is termed"algorithmic-animist world".By means of the concept of"algorithmic-animist world",we may modify some theses of the critique of the instrumental reason and add some new perspectives to the Critical Theory.
