This paper reports an actual event of unplanned boiler MFT and generator outage caused by air preheater motor tripping.It analyzes the causes of air preheater motor tripping in detail,points out the problems existing in electrical control circuit of air preheater motor,and puts forward corresponding preventive measures,so as to provide reference for avoiding the recurrence of such events.
