A Study of the Historical Records of Yingtian Prefectural Academy in Northern Song Dynasty

应天府书院是北宋著名四大书院之一,近世以来,其史志研究比其他书院相对滞后。“书院”之名起于唐,但五代以后才真正成为文人士子肄业之所。戚同文五代、宋初的私人学堂,成就斐然,享誉朝野。“书院”至升为国子监学有34年历史。史志研究中的历史分期问题,书院发展过程中大量历史事实的澄清问题,北宋中期以后一些地志、笔记等文献记载中史实抵牾的辨伪考证问题,当今学界存在的认知偏颇问题等,亟待学界深入研究。

Yingtian Prefectural Academy is one of the four famous academies of the Northern Song Dynasty,but the study on its historical records has lagged behind other academies in recent century.The name of“academy”originated in the Tang Dynasty and it only became a place for literati to do researches after the Five Dynasties.The private school of Qi Tongwen has made remarkable achievements in the Five Dynasties and early Northern Song Dynasty and enjoyed a high reputation in government and public circles.The“academy”has a history of 34 years since it was promoted to the imperial academy.The problem of historical periodization in the study of historical records,the clarification of a large number of historical facts in the development of the Academy,the problem of distinguishing and verifying the contradiction of historical facts in some geographical chronicles,notes,and other documents after middle Northern Song Dynasty,and the problem of cognitive bias in the academic circles today are in urgent need of in-depth research in the academic circles.
