With the high-quality connotative development of China's higher education and the strong rise of regional economy,local high-level universities have gradually become an important carrier for the cultivation of professional doctorates,undertaking the task of transporting high-level applied talents for the economic society.Based on the value and mission of professional doctorates training of local high-level universities in the new era,the paper deeply analyzes the current development dilemma and the deep-seated reasons for the dilemma,and proposes targeted improvement paths,with a view to providing some reference for the improvement of the professional doctoratestraining system of local high-level universities.
