This paper discusses the concept and characteristics of the large and complex municipal road engineering.Based on the overview of the rapid reconstruction project of Xiangfu Road,the characteristics are analyzed in detail.According to the management characteristics and difficulties emerging in the construction process,the experience of project management is summarized.
