明代嘉靖张氏家塾刻本《李诗选》选源考

On the Sources of A Collection of Li Bai’s Poetry Printed by Zhang in Jiajing’s Reign of Ming Dynasty

张含选、杨慎评嘉靖刻《李诗选》十卷当为明代最早且有明确文学宗旨的李白诗歌选本,此选之选源究为何本,张含无说,而杨慎语焉未详。杨慎于《李诗选》和《升庵诗话》中撰多条校勘性批语和诗话论及李诗集版本,有“古本”“今本”“俗本”等提法。我们认为,“古本”即杨慎家藏之宋乐史编刻《李翰林集》二十卷,为《李诗选》选源之校本。乐史本后亦亡佚,幸赖杨慎之校语,略知其优于现存之宋本,如清重刻宋元丰本、宋蜀本、明重刻宋咸淳本等,亦可见《李诗选》之独特价值。“今本”指元萧士赟《分类补注李太白诗》之元刻本或明翻刻本,系《李诗选》选源之底本。“俗本”指《李诗选》之前的明刻李诗集。考察《李诗选》之选源有助于辨明李诗集历代版本之差异和优劣。

The ten-volume A Collection of Li Bai’s Poetry,carved and printed in Jiajing’s reign(1522—1566),selected by Zhang Han and commented by Yang Shen,was the earliest Li Bai poetry collection in Ming Dynasty with a clear literary purpose.Zhang did not mention the sources where this collection was selected,while Yang’s words were not clear,either.However,Yang has left a number of comments and poems relating to the versions of Li Bai’s poetry collection in this book and in Shengan on Poetry(a book compiled by Yang himself),and mentioned“the ancient version”,“the present version”,and“the common version”.This paper believes that“the ancient version”,the proofreading source for the book in question,was the 20-volume edition of Collection of Li Hanlin compiled and printed by Yue Shi(930—1007)in Song Dynasty,which disappeared in later generations,but fortunately,Yang Shen’s comments in his editing of the collection in question have helped us to know that Yue Shi Version was better than existing Song versions(including reprinting of Song Yuanfeng Version in Qing Dynasty,Song Shu Version,and reprinting of Song Xianchun Version in Ming Dynasty),and hence the unique value of A Collection of Li Bai’s Poetry.“The present version”refers to Yuan version or Ming reprinted version of Xiao Shiyun’s Classified Supplementary Notes on Li Taibai’s Poetry,which is the base text where the poems of A Collection of Li Bai’s Poetry came.“The common version”refers to the collections of Li Bai’s poetry printed in Ming Dynasty before this collection.The examination of the sources of A Collection of Li Bai’s Poetry could help to identify the differences between various editions of Li Bai’s poetry collection in the history and decide which is better than the others.
