语言景观视角下曼谷唐人街的汉语研究

Studies on Chinese in Bangkok's Chinatown from the Perspective of Language Landscape

曼谷唐人街作为东南亚华人重要的栖息地之一,由于华人移民、出境旅游、文化交流、经济发展等缘故,当地的汉语语言景观别具一格。该文以曼谷最古老的唐人街Yaowarat为例,对泰国曼谷唐人街的汉语语言景观进行调查研究,通过语码数量、语码种类、语码组合模式、语码选择、语码特征、语码信息等多角度对曼谷唐人街的标牌进行描写与分析,探讨曼谷唐人街语言景观形成的原因,分析当地汉语语言景观在用字、用词、修辞方面的语言特征和误用现象,探讨曼谷唐人街汉语语言景观的文化价值,并对曼谷唐人街的汉语语言景观提出一些建议。

Bangkok's Chinatown as one of the important habitats of Southeast Asia Chinese,has a unique Chinese linguistic landscape due to Chinese immigration,outbound tourism,cultural exchange and economic development.Taking Yaowarat—the oldest Chinatown in Bangkok as an example,this paper studies the Chinese linguistic landscape of Bangkok's Chinatown,describes and analyzes the signage of Bangkok's Chinatown from multiple perspectives such as Code quantity,code type,code combination mode,code selection,code features and code information,explores the reasons for the formation of the linguistic landscape of Bangkok's Chinatown,analyzes linguistic features of Chinese characters,lexicons,rhetoric,and misuse of Chinese linguistic landscape,puts forward some suggestions on the Chinese linguistic landscape of Bangkok's Chinatown and explores the cultural value of the Chinese linguistic landscape in Bangkok's Chinatown.
