The structure and principle of extrusion dehydrator are introduced in this paper.Aiming at the problem of shaft breakage of extruder,the manufacture,material,structure,strength,chemical composition,physicochemistry and fracture of shaft were analyzed.The reason of shaft breakage is determined by analysis,and suggestions for improvement are put forward,which provides reference for the maintenance of similar extruder dehydrator shaft.
