党风政风监督是重要的政治工作,也是纪检监察工作的重要组成部分。改革开放以来,随着纪检、监察机关的恢复成立,党风政风监督工作先后起步并不断发展,在经历了党风、纠风双轨并行时期后,于新时代发展为党风政风一体监督。四十多年的党风政风监督经验表明,党风建设事关党的生死存亡和事业的兴衰成败;党风政风建设旨在保持党和人民群众的血肉联系;党风政风表里一体需要一体监督;根本定位是政治监督;基本形式是“常专结合”;关键在于“常长”。
