传统教育价值观的审思与改造

Reflection and Transformation of Traditional Educational Values

我国传统的教育价值观存在双重偏差:一是将教育的本质视为实现某种外在目的的工具,陷入了工具主义的误区;二是将工具主义误判为社会本位论,致使工具主义价值观得不到有效的改造。工具主义价值观由于没有科学处理教育与社会发展、人的发展之间的关系,给教育改革和发展带来了巨大的困扰,主要表现在:教育的物化、主体性的失落和学校改革的被动性。对传统教育价值观进行改造,可从以下三个方面着手:坚守学校教育以人为本的根本方向;坚持合目的性与合规律性相统一的基本原则;立足教育价值的主要矛盾规划改造路径。

There is a double deviation in traditional Chinese educational values.One is to regard the essence of education as a tool to achieve a certain external end,thus falling into the error of instrumentalism.The other is to misjudge“instrumentalism”as“social standard theory”,thereby making the values of instrumentalism out of effective reform.Instead of scientifically handling the relationship between education and social development or human development,instrumentalismit has brought forth great trouble to the school reform,such as the materialization of education,the loss of subjectivity and passivity of school reform.The transformation of educational values can be carried from the ensuing three aspects:firstly,to adhere to the fundamental orientation of student-first school education;secondly,to persist in the basic principle of unity of purpose and regularity;lastly,to plan a transformation path grounded on the principal contradiction of the current educational values.
