论文发表及其规定对工学硕士生读博选择的影响——基于全国研究生离校调查数据的分析

The Impact of Paper Published and Related Regulations on the PhD Choice of Academic Master Students in Engineering——An Analysis Based on the Data of the Survey of Graduate Students

摘要 在“破五唯”背景下,学界更加谨慎地审视论文发表经历在人才培养中的作用,并对高校的论文发表激励制度提出质疑。对此,文章利用2021年全国毕业生离校调查中工学样本数据进行分析,研究发现:论文发表经历将会显著提升工学硕士生读博意愿,但对读博学术动机提升作用有限;相较于国内论文发表经历,国际论文发表更有助于提升工学硕士生读博意愿;以质量保证为目的的论文发表规定在培养结果上不利于工学硕士生读博意愿及学术动机的提升;论文发表经历对工学硕士生读博意愿的影响,论文发表规定对读博意愿及学术动机的影响存在学科异质性,部分不同学科分类下其影响效果存在显著差异。整体而言,论文发表经历对工学硕士生读博选择的积极影响需以非强制为前提,论文发表规定影响了读博意愿及学术动机的养成,不利于科研热情及学术兴趣的培养。因此,工学硕士生读博意愿及学术动机培养需要理性看待论文发表经历的质量保障作用,尊重学科发展规律,建立多元化、差异化的人才培养与评价制度。 Under the background of“breaking five only”,the academic community has more carefully examined the role of paper published experience in talent cultivation.They also questioned the incentive system of paper published in universities.The engineering sample data from the survey of graduate students in 2021 are analyzed in this paper to conduct research,and the research conclusions are as follows.The experience of paper published will significantly improve the willingness to pursue a doctorate among academic master students in engineering,but the improvement effect on academic motivation is limited.Compared with the experience of publishing in domestic journals,the experience of publishing in international journals is more conducive to improving their willingness to pursue a doctorate.The regulation of paper published is for quality assurance,but it is not conducive to the improvement of willingness to pursue a doctorate and academic motivation in terms of training results.The impact of paper published experience and on the willingness to pursue a doctorate has the subject heterogeneity.The subject heterogeneity is also in the impact of paper published regulations on willingness to pursue a doctorate and academic motivation.These effects have significant differences under different subject classifications.In summary,the positive impact of papers published experience on the choice of academic master students in engineering needs to be based on non-mandatory premise.The regulation of paper published has affected the formation of doctoral willingness and academic motivation,and is not conducive to the development of scientific research enthusiasm and academic interest.Therefore,in order to develop the doctoral willingness and academic motivation of academic master students in engineering,the guarantee role of paper published experience needs to be rationally treated.Universities need to respect the law of discipline development and establish a diversified and differentiated talent training and evaluation system.
