城市中现存的工业遗产具备其独有的历史价值、科技价值、文化价值、经济价值以及社会价值,对其合理的保护,不仅可以解决资源利用和环境问题,还能够使工业历史文化得到延续。材料作为可以直接制成成品的东西,是工业建筑中表现文化的重要手段之一。金属材料作为工业建筑中常见的材料,具有其独特的材料属性和材料语言,本文对金属材料的色彩、质感、形态、光影、气味、声音和环境所表达的材料语言进行研究,使其在工业遗产保护中更好的发挥独特价值。

The existing industrial heritage in the city has historical,scientific,cultural,economic and social values.Reasonable protection of industrial heritage can not only solve the problems of resources and environment,but also make the continuation of industrial history and culture.As something that can be directly made into a finished product,material is one of the important means to express culture in industrial architecture.As a common material in industrial architecture,metal has unique material properties and material language.This paper analyses the material language expressed by the colours,textures,forms,light,smells,sounds and environment of metals,so that metallic materials can be better valued in the protection of industrial heritage.
