Overview of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Early-onset Ovarian Insufficiency

早发性卵巢功能不全(POI)是卵巢功能逐渐衰退中的一个阶段。西医对于POI的发病机制尚不明确,治疗采用激素替代(HRT)及辅助生殖技术(IVF-ET),有诸如不良反应多、治疗周期长及费用昂贵等不足。上述不足使中医药在POI的治疗中获得了诸多患者的青睐。作者将近年来POI病因病机、中医药治法及中药临床实验研究进行归纳总结,以期为未来治疗该病提供思路和依据。

Premature ovarian insufficiency(POI)is one of the stages of gradual decline of ovarian function.Western medicine is not clear about the pathogenesis of this disease.Western medicine adopts hormone replacement therapy(HRT)and assisted reproductive technology(IVF-ET),and has many side effects,long treatment cycle and high cost make traditional Chinese medicine favored by many patients in the treatment of this disease.The author summarized the etiology and pathogenesis of POI,traditional Chinese medi-cine treatment and clinical experimental research of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years,in order to provide ideas and basis for the treatment of this disease in the future.
