论《云中记》对地震题材小说的突破及其局限

Breakthroughs and Limits of the Earthquake-themed Story:A Tale of the Yunzhong Village

汶川大地震后涌现出了大量的地震题材小说,但急就章性质较浓。阿来的《云中记》以祭师阿巴为叙事主人公,凸显了对人和自然的终极关怀。《云中记》在历史重述、叙事、所展现出的悲悯等多个方面对地震题材小说有所突破,但整体来看,它并未实现对阿来既往小说的超越,是一部有突破的局限之作。

Numerous novels have sprung up since the post-Wenchuan Earthquake period,however,they were finished off in haste.A Tale of the Yunzhong Village by Alai,taking the high priest Aba as protagonist in its narrative,highlights an ultimate concern for humans and nature.This novel has made lots of breakthroughs in historical retelling,narrative,compassion and transcendence among earthquake-themed novels.Seen holistically,this novel hasn’t excelled in Alai’s previous works like Dust Settled;in this case,it can be argued that A Tale of the Yunzhong Village is a novel with breakthroughs and limitations as well.
