Modified midfacial degloving combined with laser-assisted surgery in extensive inverted papilloma of nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses

目的 :探讨面中部揭翻加激光治疗鼻腔鼻窦广泛性内翻性乳头状瘤的疗效。方法 :采用改良面中部揭翻加激光切除鼻腔鼻窦广泛性内翻性乳头状瘤 32例。结果 :32例的切口均I期愈合 ,无并发症。随访 6个月至 4年 ,32例中复发 3例 ,2次手术后未再复发。结论

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and outcomes on the modified midfacial degloving combined with laser-assisted to treat extensive inverted papilloma of nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.Methods:32 patients with extensive inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses were operated on using the modified midfacial degloving proceclure combined with laser-assisted surgery. Result: 32 cases healed in primary healing without any complications. Only 3 cases recurred after six months to four years′ follow-up, and they were cured after secondary operation. Conclusion: The modified midfacial degloving combined with laser-assisted surgery is a reliable and effective treatment for extensive inverted papilloma and other tumors of nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.
