Summary of Urban Renewal in the Process of Urban Development:A Case of the Practice of Chengdu

改革开放以来,中国城市迅猛发展,整体上已从“增量时代”转向“存量演进”的新阶段,城市更新已经成为业界对城市发展的新共识。通过梳理中国主要城市更新实践,回顾其演进历程,结合成都市城市更新现状进行梳理,探究城市更新的主要驱动因素,展望未来城市更新在城市新旧更迭融合中的作用。

Since the reform and opening-up,Chinese cities have been developing rapidly and have changed from“incremental era”to a new stage of“inventory evolution”entirely.Urban renewal has become a new consensus for urban development in the industry.Through sorting out the urban renewal practices of major cities in China,and reviewing its evolution process,the paper combs the current status of urban renewal in Chengdu,explores the main factors driving urban renewal,and prospects the role of urban renewal in the integration of the“old and new”in the future.
