Reading the Architectural Design of YANG Tingbao

By a close reading of his architectural design from the works presented in the exhibition,YANG Tingbao,An architect and his century,this paper inquires the thoughts and strategies embraced in his various architecture practices,and tries to present the academic tradition and disciplinary facts in them.It is irreplaceably important to analyze the architecture work of YANG Tingbao,such a retrospection will be helpful not only to reconnect the tradition in the early Chinese modern architecture,but also illustrate the its autonomous nature of architecture independent of the time,which will let architectural practices become able to confront the contemporary challenges.
