Path to College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Guided by General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Exposition on Science and Technology Innovation

党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央高度重视科技创新,坚持实施创新驱动发展战略,指出创新是引领发展的第一动力,明确人是科技创新最关键的因素,强调走中国特色自主创新之路,提出为建设世界科技强国而奋斗,形成了一系列科技创新理念和观点。在当前大学生创新创业教育面临认识有偏、方向不清、保障不力等现实问题的情况下,高校亟须深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于科技创新的重要论述,提高对创新创业教育的战略共识,强化创新第一动力的价值引领,突出立德树人根本任务,完善中国特色的创新教育理论与人才培养体系,围绕世界科技强国目标打造一流创新教育。

Since the 18th CPC national congress,the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core has been attaching great importance to science and technology innovation.A series of concepts and viewpoints on science and technology innovation have been put forward.The innovation-driven development strategy has been consistently implemented.Xi Jinping ranks innovation as the primary driving force of development,defines talent as the most crucial factor in science and technology innovation,emphasizes on the path to independent innovation with Chinese characteristics,and advocates concerted commitment to build a world-class science and technology power.At present,innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students is faced with such practical problems as partial understanding,unclear direction,and inadequate guarantee.Universities urgently need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Exposition on science and technology innovation,consolidate the strategic consensus on innovation and entrepreneurship education,strengthen the value orientation of innovation as the primary driving force,highlight the fundamental mission of moral education,improve the innovation education theory and talent cultivation system with Chinese characteristics,and build first-class innovation education,aiming for a world-class science and technology power.
