社会性别视角下的英国高校女教师职业发展研究

Research on Professional Development in British Woman University Teachers from Perspective of Social Gender

摘要 在全球化和高等教育国际化的大背景下,研究不同国家高校女教师的职业发展状况有助于揭示女性教师在高等教育领域中的地位和作用,推动性别平等在教育领域的实现。本文首先梳理了英国高校女性教师的职业发展概况;其次分析社会性别对英国高校女性教师职业发展的束缚,她们不仅在职称上遭遇性别隔离,学科上也饱受性别隔离影响;最后从社会性别视角入手,提出相应的改进策略,力求实现高等教育领域女性教师的全面自由发展。 Under the circumstances of globalization and higher educational internationalization,studying woman university teachers'professional development in other countries is of great help to reveal their position and status,and promote gender equality in the tertiary educational sector.This paper begins with a summary of the status quo in Britain in this respect.Then the paper analyzes problems plaguing woman teachers in British university,especially gender discrimination in their pursuing of academic titles and disciplinary studies.Finally,the paper borrows insights from social gender perspective,and proposes some countermeasures,serving the purpose of facilitating woman teachers'overall free development.
